Multi-talented racehorse trainer, equine vet and fine art curator Ilka Gansera-Lévêque is set
to enchant visitors at The Game Fair 2025 with a curated selection of original artworks and
sculptures from her Newmarket-based Art & Horse Racing Gallery (www.artandhorseracing.com), in an exhibition inspired by hard work, designed to uplift and inspire.
Taking place at Ragley Hall from July 25–27, The Game Fair is the UK’s leading celebration
of country pursuits, drawing tens of thousands of enthusiasts each year. This summer, it
welcomes a special selection from Ilka’s gallery, located at her racing yard, Saint Wendred’s, in Newmarket the historic home of horseracing.
Set against the backdrop of live thoroughbreds in motion, the gallery offers a rare fusion of
equine excellence and artistic expression. As one of the UK’s only full-time racehorse
trainers who is also a qualified vet, Ilka brings a distinctive perspective, blending her deep
knowledge of animal welfare with a passion for visual storytelling.
“I love art and I want to show some of my favourite artists alongside the real thing—the
horses we train every day,” Ilka says. “This is art that makes you feel good.”
Reflecting the spirit of The Game Fair, its respect for tradition, craftsmanship and rural life,
the exhibition will feature:
